What do I need to play the game?
For the best gaming experience you need the following:
- A box with QR Music Cards
- The free QR Music Cards app
- The Spotify app (with a Premium subscription)
And not to forget: some fun people to play with 😉.
How exactly does it work?
You take a card, scan the QR code, and immediately hear a song. Guess the song, check the answer (it's on the other side of the card), and score points! explanation page There are various game modes. You can also make your own rules or mix things up.
Is it difficult?
That's up to you. Choose easy mode for a relaxed game, or go pro if you want something more intense. This way, it's fun for everyone: from occasional singers to music fans.
Do I need a Spotify subscription?
While our app currently requires a Spotify Premium subscription to fully utilize its features, you can still listen to Spotify Free without using our app. We're also working on an app update that will soon allow Spotify Free users to play as well.
Where do I download the app?

Is it suitable for children?
There isn't currently a suitable edition for young children, but one is coming – we expect a proper kids' edition in the fourth quarter of 2025.
For older children and young people, the Tens and Twenties editions fun: recognizable hits from past years, perfect for teens and twenty-somethings.
How many people can you play with?
With two people or a whole group – anything is possible. Play solo, in pairs, or in teams. Ideal for home, at a party, or even in the office.
When will new editions be released?
We're busy expanding. There are currently 16 editions, and many more are on the way. Keep an eye on the website, or let us know via the Contact Form if you have a good idea for a new category!
